Tiempo de taller / Workshop time

Since I decided to collect miniatures Mantic Games and play Kings of War I have focused almost exclusively on assembling and painting miniatures of this game. In fact, during this time I have left out (but not forgotten) my new Warhammer 40,000 Tyranid army. The picture above are the first dwarves who entered the workshop, although they are finished and I will upload the pictures later.
A few days ago my friend Imarchi and I drew lots with which armies were going to play, and I would have played the Dwarves, so it will be the first army to paint.
But among the things I wanted to show you not only the state of painting this army of dwarfs, also some things that have been developed to facilitate the game. The first are the trays of movement, I like these totally enclosed trays that fit better miniatures and fall less, but in the case of dwarves also have a mastiff miniature has no base, and in fact only is a marker of attack. But to hold it steady on the tray I made the following motion:

Mastiff've glued a coin of 1 euro cent, first to give stability to the miniature, since having a big head is out of balance and falls forward, with the additional weight of the coin and stand properly maintained . But the problem is to keep the miniature on the movement tray without dropping and this is my solution.

I added a circular section of styrene to the tray and on top I stuck a small magnet. Thus putting the mastiff with metal stand, is completely fixed and not moving as much as the tray moves.

For now this is it, but soon I'll upload the photos in this unit finished dwarves.
