The Liche King's Hell Horde

Mi amigo Imarchi ha recibido esta semana el set de miniaturas The Liche King's Hell Horde de Mantic y me ha pasado unas fotografías se lo que incluye este "bundle".

Como se puede ver es una buena cantidad de miniaturas, muchas cajas y en definitiva muchos muertos vivientes. Lo peor es que voy a tener que enfrentarme a esa cantidad de muertos con mi ejército de enanos y creo que lo voy a pasar muy mal.

Por fin he terminado mi primera tropa de enanos acorazados. Y acabo de empezar mi primera tropa de ballesteros, aunque aun no he hecho fotos, pero en cuento estén un poco más avanzados lo veréis.

Hoy me he centrado en hacer algo de escenografía, para mi amigo Imarchi.

Tiempo de taller / Workshop time

Desde que decidí coleccionar miniaturas de Mantic Games y jugar a Kings of War me he centrado casi en exclusiva en montar y pintar las miniaturas de este juego. De hecho durante este tiempo he dejado a un lado (aunque no olvidado) mi nuevo ejército tiránido de Warhammer 40,000. En la foto de arriba están los primeros enanos que entraron en el taller, aunque ya están terminados y pondré las fotos más adelante.
Hace unos días mi amigo Imarchi y yo nos echamos a suertes con que ejércitos íbamos a jugar, y a mi me ha tocado los enanos, por lo que será el primer ejército que pinte.
Pero entre las cosas que quería mostraros no es sólo el estado de la pintura de este ejército de enanos, también algunas cosas que he estado desarrollando para facilitar el juego. La primera de ellas son las bandejas de movimiento, me gustan estas bandejas totalmente cerradas por que ajustan mejor las miniaturas y se caen menos, pero en el caso de los enanos además tienen una miniatura el mastín que no tiene peana, y que en realidad sólo es un marcador de ataque. Pero para mantenerlo fijo sobre la bandeja de movimiento he hecho lo siguiente:

He fijado del mastín a una moneda de 1 céntimo de euro, primero para darle estabilidad a la miniatura, ya que al tener una cabeza tan grande no está equilibrada y cae hacía delante, con el peso adicional de la moneda ya se mantiene correctamente en pie. Pero el problema es mantener esta miniatura en la bandeja de movimiento sin que se caiga y esta es mi solución.

He añadido una sección circular de plasticard a la bandeja y en la parte superior he pegado un pequeño imán. De esta forma al poner el mastín con la peana metálica, queda totalmente fijada y sin moverse por mucho que la bandeja se desplace.

Por ahora esto es todo, aunque en breve subiré las fotos de esta unidad de enanos terminada.

Mastiff've glued a coin of 1 euro cent, first to give stability to the miniature, since having a big head is out of balance and falls forward, with the additional weight of the coin and stand properly maintained . But the problem is to keep the miniature on the movement tray without dropping and this is my solution.

I added a circular section of styrene to the tray and on top I stuck a small magnet. Thus putting the mastiff with metal stand, is completely fixed and not moving as much as the tray moves.

¡Por fin! / At last!

Ya llegó mi caja de Mhorgoth's Revenge, y estoy más contento que unas castañuelas y voy a abrirla haciendo unas cuantas fotos para mostrar el contenido, sobre todo para aquellos que estén dudando comprar esta caja de miniaturas o empezar a jugar a Kings of War.
Ante todo os diré que el contenido de la caja cumple con todas las expectativas que tenía sobre ella, y está muy lejos de incluir cosas superfluas y artificios que encarecen el producto, tened en cuenta que esta caja cuesta 40 libras en el Reino Unido, 50 euros para todos los demás.

Como veis está llena hasta los topes de matrices, y so contenido son 110 miniaturas más dos maquinas de guerra, una catapulta para los muertos vivientes y un cañón para los enanos.

Además de las miniaturas, está el reglamento, la hoja con las estadísticas de los ejércitos, ocho puntos mantic para el programa de puntos y el número 2 del Mantic Journal... aaaaah! y cinco dados.
Si tengo tiempo hoy empezaré a montar los enanos, y empezará mi depresión al ver todo lo que tengo que pintar. Los muertos vivientes los dejaré para un poco más adelante (2 ó 3 días) y empezaré con los zombies, que tengo muchas ganas de verlos montados y ver si de verdad son como en las fotos (jejeje).

Already got my box Mhorgoth's Revenge, and I'm happier than a castanets (sorry, this is a spanish cliche) and I will open it and make a few pictures to show content, especially for those who are hesitating to buy this box of miniatures or start playing Kings of War.
First of all I will say that the contents of the box meets all expectations I had about it, and is far from superfluous and devices include things that raise the cost of the product, keep in mind that this box is 40 pounds in the UK, 50 euros for all others.

As you can see is filled to the top with sprues, and so contents are 110 miniatures and two war machines, a catapult to the undead and a cannon for the dwarfs.

In addition to the miniatures, is the rules manual, the army lists, eight points for the points program and the number 2 of the Journal Mantic ... aaaaah! and five dice.
If I have time today to begin assembling the dwarfs, and my depression will begin to see everything I have to paint. I will leave the living dead for a little later (2 or 3 days) and come to the zombies, which I have really wanted to see them mounted and see if they really are like in the pictures (lol).

Retornados finalizados / Revenants finished

Sí, lo conseguí.
Ya puedo dar por terminada la primera unidad de retornados, con su bandeja de movimiento y la rata muerta, que había olvidado pintar y anoche me acorde de ella. Así que os dejo más fotografías de la unidad y esta vez bastante mejores.

Para la próxima unidad buscaré un sistema para poner a las ratas para que no se pierdan o se caigan de la peana y estoy pensando en poner un pequeño imán en la miniatura y en la bandeja. Ya pensaré como lo hago.
Respecto a la bandeja de movimiento, como veis la he decorado igual que las peanas para que se note lo menos posible, y está totalmente cerrada para que las peanas encajen y se muevan lo mínimo.
Y ahora... a pintar mis enanos acorazados.

Yes, I got it.

Now I can terminate the first unit of revenants, with his movement  tray and the dead rat that had forgotten to paint and I remembered it last night. So I leave you more pictures of the unit and this time much more positive.

For the next unit to look for a system of rats to not get lost or fall off the tray and I'm thinking of putting a small magnet on the miniature and the tray. I'll think like I do.

Respect to the movement tray, as you see I have decorated like the bases to be noticed as little as possible, and is completely closed so that the bases fit and move a minimum.
